To request a valuation for a property with substantial improvements select "MI Termination Substantial Improvements " in the drop-down for the Order Valuation Reason field in the Order Valuation screen in the SMDU UI. The details of the improvements must be provided in the valuation request and should be supplied by the borrower.
When the Order Valuation Reason selected is for MI Termination Substantial Improvements at least one line item must be completed in the Substantial Improvements Information section. Enter a description, the dollar amount and completion date of the improvement (per the example below).
Click +Add Improvements to itemize each improvement made.
You can also upload a list of the improvements as a PDF document (per the example below). The PDF must not contain any unnecessary nonpublic personal information (NPI) i.e., copies of checks or credit card numbers.
