A LAR is required to be reported each month for all loans whether there is activity or not. During the Trial period, when the Trail payment funds received are less than the current contractual payment, a no payment LAR would need to be reported. A no payment LAR is when the LPI and UPB do not change from the prior month. The unapplied Trial funds would be placed into a suspense account until there are enough funds to report a full contractual payment. When Trial payments funds total enough to report a full contractual payment, meaning when able to advance the LPI and decrease the UPB, simply report the LAR via your SURF file upload or manually through LSDU. Remember these funds will need remitted once any payments are reported.
